Before the storefronts, before the lines around the block, there was one fryer rattling in a parking lot. The truck is still the heart of Friskie Fries.
The Rhode Island circuit
Providence to Pawtucket to Warwick to Newport. We learned the state one curb at a time. Regulars started texting us asking where we’d be on Friday. Most weeks, we still are.
Why the truck still rolls
Storefronts are great. The truck is different. It’s out where people gather — block parties, breweries, festivals, weddings. Same fryer energy. Just on wheels.
